Before we go much farther with this me-answering-your-questions thing, let's talk about the BIG question.
The one that wakes you up at night, the one that you can't seem to find an easy answer for, the big secret everyone else seems to know:
How do I create a successful business?
I've got TWO answers, one simple and one complex, for this most-asked question.
The most important thing is to decide what success means to YOU.

January 24, 2013 at 11:53 am (12 years ago)I teach a recycled art and fashion program to kids. Success is when we create things together that the world has never seen. That’s magic for me — doing something astonishing that’s inventive and new.

January 25, 2013 at 11:56 am (12 years ago)Hi Tara! Â Thanks for the video and what it makes me think about! Â I’ve watched other videos and tutorials about achieving success and they leave me feeling a bit empty and frankly, they become generic after a while.
This is different because you instruct really taking a look at what success means to each individual – once again, thank you for that.
My idea of success is getting at least one order everyday. Â I know this may sound small in comparison to some other businesses, but since I hand make all my products, I am so grateful for every single order I get. Â Hand knitting is not necessarily a fast process, but it is what I absolutely love to do – at home. Â Of course, I would love more than one order, but I found that during the holiday season, getting at least one order consistently made me feel like “wow, I really can do this and survive financially.” Â Since then, of course, January set in and nothing has happened in over a week now! Â lol
Thanks again – looking forward to seeing and reading more from you!
