It's not that scientific. Basically if a sneak peek gets more likes or engagement than my usual posts, I make a note on my release checklist and when I review the first week's sales I guesstimate if the increased likes were a prelude to increased sales. 🙂

I track my conversion rate when I have a CTA in a newsletter, I track my email list growth, I track individual pattern sales on a weekly basis, I track pattern sales the week of a launch (so I can estimate my income with each launch going forward), I track feedback on social media when I release a ‘sneak peek' of a new design so that I can try to…[Read more]

The store did not receive my first invoice and were slow to respond to my subsequent emails. I think it was a good lesson anyway to at least get a down payment for such a large order.
