Hey all, feeling lame about missing chat again this week (and about being vacant from the forums in general) so I thought I would come post a wee update!
Going well: All of september fiber club is dyed, half is dry and packed, and half is drying! I'm going to make it through club alive, despite the house buying and the move! We are all moved in…[Read more]

@nessa-jay I use GoDaddy Bookkeeping to keep track of all my income and expenses. It does have a monthly fee, but the time it saves and the reports I'm able to get with it are worth it. You can connect your PayPal account so it automatically imports all of your transactions. Then you can use categories to sort the entries.

What are you working on?
The last few days have been all about filling orders. I didn't feel so well during the weekend so I took those days off UNTIL my website turned into a hot mess because of an uncooperative plug in. Spent all Saturday dealing with that. Thankfully my webhost has great service and they were able to help me.
I also just got…[Read more]

I feel like I’m getting things done, although I’ve been on a bit of a roller coaster about the validity of my work lately. Some days I can’t wait to share what I know, and other days wonder why anyone wo…[Read more] -

Just had to share this experience with all of you. My family has always been very supportive and helpful. I am truly blessed with them. They have helped set up my booth at shows, worked the shows, gone to the post office for me, stuck labels on boxes, and such things. This past week my 19 year old son started working for me part time. I need…[Read more]

Huuuge Hugs Tara!
(Slowly working my way through the thread, Huge Hugs to everyone else dealing with this too!)I have been personally dealing with depression ever since highschool.
Mostly I just feel a numbness/to the point where I do stupid/irrational things sometimes because I just don't care what happens & I sleep a lot.
Besides the…[Read more]

Working on? I'm making some progress on the new book I'm working on. I have all the patterns roughly planned out and am currently knitting the first sample. Nine projects in all so still a ways to go (and I'm not quite ready to announce the theme), but it's progress. (The idea sat in my head for quite a while.) I also have another design on the…[Read more]

Early today — I have errands and it's the first day of school here today, and for elementary kids that's a half day. So I want to get out and back before the chaos. (However looking at the clock I think I'll be in the middle of it. Oh well.)
what's going well & what are you working on? combining these this week:
I am crossing things off the…[Read more]

I love the analogy about anxiety being like a bear in the room. But here's my question — what if the bear is real? I have anxiety around food because of Rowan's allergies and sometimes (much more rarely now then before) this trickles over into generalised anxiety. So I've been having slightly elevated levels of anxiety leading up to him starting…[Read more]

Whatcha workin on?
I'm playing with all the kinds of ads Ravelry offers, in a group, on the pattern main page, in the notebook… The main page one is the most expensive but the most effective, too. I'll pick another pattern for ads in the main group, just for variety.
Besides, there are patterns waiting to be finished and published – and…[Read more] -
