what's going well
Many different pieces are starting to fall into place and progress is happening on some exciting new things. Not just services *I* have to always work on, but things that don't always need my constant care and attention. That's good.
whatcha' workin' on?
As always, a bit of everything 😉
I am working on my Q2 maps and trying…[Read more]

*sniff* Congrats @riin-gill! My favourite stones are opal (the whiter/blue-purple ones, not the pink) and amethyst. Though looking at pictures I wonder if the tiny opals that were given to me as a child as “heirloom” are actually Opalite as mine don't look anything like what I see online. You know how to find me if you have questions. 😉

Whatcha workin on? What’s going well?
My Going Out of Business Sale has been going really well! There is hardly anything left! I'm almost done getting my studio in shape so I ordered the tools, equipment, and supplies I'll need to get started as a metalsmith, and those will start arriving this week. Squee!
How can we help?

Jeanne Stevenson replied to the topic Using Autoresponder Emails for new subscribers in the forum Engineering 8 years, 3 months ago
I agree with all of the “too many emails!” Responses. But what if you set it up so that new subscribers received your welcome email series BEFORE they were added in to receive the weekly emails? So there is no overlap and therefore no flood of emails?
I have 1 welcome email that I send that has a really great open rate. I've thought about…[Read more]

Thanks for the information @ann-tudor. I didn't know about a couple of those sources so I will check them out. I was hoping I could narrow my search somewhat because searching for large hole beads picks up too much information – everything from slightly larger than seed pearls to the ones with huge holes that are much too large for my application.…[Read more]

What's going well?
I finalized my logo today with my graphic designer! (It should be uploaded with this message…) I am within 10 pages of finishing working through Market Yourself, which I started about 3 months ago before deciding to commit to the Starship. I took a mental health break from the frantic pace of the past two days yesterday to…[Read more]

So I want to grow my email list. I write a blog post and want to add a content upgrade with that. I don't have leadpages (can't afford that right now), but I read a blog post from Aileen Barker where she explains to have a place in your blog post where people can enter their email address and after that, they get the link to the content upgrade.…[Read more]

Wow, @jess-cook, the book club sounds awesome. I just signed up.
I've read, and loved Big Magic. I want to re-read it – I think I'm going to do it when on vacation this summer.
Currently reading : The Teenage Brain. Very interesting when you have a teenager in the house.

Hi @nicole-van-gremberghe– Congrats on the enthusiasm!
I second everything that's already been said here, and have a few other observations:
– I've been a teacher since I was 12 years old, when my mother (a piano teacher in our home), gave me her beginner students to teach. I went on to teach performing arts at summer camps, Girl Scout groups,…[Read more] -

Hello!
The beads that you are looking for are called Large Hole Beads (I know, very original!) Depending upon the styles and quantity you want, try Fire Mountain, Shipwreck Beads, Rio Grande, Beadaholique or Etsy. Huge price range due to materials used, glass, sterling silver, base metal, etc.
Hope that will give you some direction.…[Read more]

My April pattern is almost finished.
