@di-cannone that is awesome! I love that you were able to use your north star to identify a good goal for you, and that you thought of it while kneading bread!! I often have my most inspiring thoughts in the shower for the same reason – it's when my mind has a chance to wander!!

Wow, @tanja-osswald, that's quite a big goal! Good luck, can't wait to see the new patterns!!

@c-c-almon That sounds like a good goal to me! It'll feel really good when all of your patterns are up to the new format/standard, I'm guessing.

@dawn-craig I love that you're approaching it like a quest, that's super fun!! Have you tried the Habitica app? Superbetter (I'm assuming that's the book you're referring to?) has one, too. I haven't used either of them much but I looked at them. 🙂

@penny-shima-glanz That looks cool! I also love that you're going with the method that gets you to a plan the fastest way, because I tend to get caught up in pretty-fying details sometimes, too, and the reason I quit bullet journaling was that drawing the layouts was too much of a hassle/distraction for me and I just needed to get stuff written down, ha!

Nice use of an image, @susan-heyn!
Some random bits of advice for you:
1) Unsubscribes aren't bad! That just means you're not paying for people who don't wanna hear from you.2) Try to think about how you can make every message useful for your people. That doesn't mean every one has to be educational – it's useful to tell me about an awesome new…[Read more]

@nicole-van-gremberghe you have gotten some great advice here! You absolutely have permission not to do stuff you hate, but also if you wanna make it easier on yourself, you could use an app like Later to post to Instagram for you, so you could just kind of schedule it and forget it. Totally up to you!!

I use OneDrive – it's included in my MS Office package. It works like Google Drive in that I can share download links with people. The watermarking website that I use (www.watermark.ws) to watermark my product photos also includes storage (I think I pay $40 per year for the service).

@tanja-osswald Excellent. It was pretty easy to set up, I just hope that people realize it isn't really a poll, because that is how it is worded. Thanks for this!
@joeli-kelly Checking this out now. I already posted a link to Doodle, but I am going to put this in my references for the future. Thanks for your input!

@nicole-van-gremberghe I'll chime in here to offer food for thought.
I agree, people seem to engage more on FB than other SM. However, I think it is worth keeping all SM, for a while longer and experiment. I don't like Twitter much, but I still post to it, and I do get a small amt of traffic from it. Different people like different platforms, so…[Read more]

Same system as Jill, the pay-for Dropbox option. It has a lot of space for data. From time to time I back up my computer (documents and images) to Dropbox too – it takes time, but it's good to have an extra back-up in case both your computer and external hard drive die/burn/are stolen.

I use Calendly and love it. It's free for two events I think. You can set the time length of the meeting and you can give a buffer between meetings.

I use Dropbox (not the free version–its like $99/year) and I back up to an external and I periodically offload things to another hard drive. My phone/camera is set up to download everything to Dropbox when plugged into my computer. Both my laptop and desktop share the Dropbox. No where near using all my storage anyplace.

Google has quite a bit of space for free. I use one drive because hubby already pays for it and he'll never use all the space… I even back my website up there.

Thanks, @dawn-craig! And I checked, the last emails I got from you were at the end of last year. I deactivated my spam filter to see all mail but maybe it got bounced somewhere earlier?
