Whatcha workin on? What’s going well?
Lots! The remaining yarn and fiber inventory now fits in just THREE bins! I got everything off the shelves that we built a few years ago in the living room and dining room, we took them apart, and Rob drove the pieces to the buyer I had lined up for them. The rooms seem so much bigger now!
I got my bench s…[Read more]

I use them every once in a while, but I don't think you can schedule them really. Yet, anyway!

Going well: This past weekend was DFW Fiber Fest, which is my big show for the year (I do two other events, but this is usually my best one). Overall it went really well. For sales, I came very close to doubling what I made last year (and I was happy with what I made last year!), so that's super exciting. I also had quite a few people show me…[Read more]

@michelle-ecklor I do! Honestly, I don't see much traffic through them, so I just have a calendar reminder to do an update once a week. I don't think there's a way to schedule them.

I agree. I'd rather have links that just have stuff taken and used (people tend to forget the attribution part).

Anyone use Etsy shop updates? Do you know a way to schedule them?
Thanks!

Sara McCormick replied to the topic Instagram Pod Idea in the forum Engineering 8 years, 2 months ago
@linda-tieu So I've been a part of a few pods before and while you may see a spike in engagement right off, it never lasts and always fall back down. Also – the pods never last. Maybe they'll make it a month or six weeks, but like folks have mentioned, it is a very big thing to ask people to like and comment on everything you post, and for you to…[Read more]

Yep, people LOVE you to link to their stuff! And if they're video CAN be embedded, that means they're OK with it. Just always always link back to them when you mention them, and they will be delighted 🙂

tara replied to the topic Doing my taxes is making me cry in the forum Engineering 8 years, 2 months ago
I'm so sorry it's making you cry! Another encouragement to go see an accountant (I paid $150 for one hour of an accountant's time, just to ask questions like this).
AND…this year we tried Credit karma for the first time. It had us owing what seemed like a ridiculous amount, so I put in all the numbers on Turbo Tax…and we owed $1000 less.…[Read more] -

Hi folks!
Yes, you were right, I got the date/time mixed up a bit in the emails. In the future if you're ever worried about that type of thing just shoot me an email at vulcan@taraswiger.com because I'm faster at responding there. 🙂
Glad you were able to enjoy the webinar!!

Like Jess said, if you're just adding a link, I don't think any permission is needed. Embedding or using a graphic on your own site would need permission, but a simple link is fine.
That being said, if you find them helpful, you have total permission to link to any of my tutorials: http://karendawndesigns.com/knitting-tutorials/.
