I'm glad to hear that you're on your way toward a solution to this, @riin-gill!!! I'm sure it must be super frustrating but having a plan is a step in a very good direction!

Thanks @karen-robinson! I did a quick search for Dymo printers but was not sure which model would work aor if they were able to print larger labels. Perfect! I appreciate your help!

I have a DYMO LabelWriter 4XL that I use for printing shipping labels (4″ x 6″). I love it. Like seriously love it. I don't know how I lived without it.

Hello everyone! I am looking for a printer that I can use for shipping labels. I have had experience with a Dymo printer using small address labels but not large labels. Any suggestions?
Thanks -

I agree with everything above. It's a struggle.
You do have a few other options…
You can friend them and then put them in a group/category. When you post, you can chose which groups can see which posts.
I've also seen some people who have a personal FB account, their business page, and then either a page for their self as a person or a second…[Read more]

I wouldn't say anything. Most people that send those won't really remember or check back on them so I don't think it's a big deal.

I think we use our map differently, though I cannot quite pinpoint why.
So, here's my take:
For this quarter, I have two goals on my map: Publish my book and publish nine single patterns. They both have a list of milestones that I can check off (ten steps to get me to my book and pattern 1 to 9).
Some of my single patterns are in cooperations,…[Read more] -

@tanja-osswald It is really interesting to me that you don't list everything you want to do on your map, because I don't see how I could do it any other way; my map has become a giant to-do list and maybe that is part of the problem. Where do you list everything you want to accomplish in the quarter and how do you relate those to your map?

@sarah-walworth, what do you want your map to be? My map never lists everything I want to do on the next quarter, it just helps me keep track of one (or three) big goal(s) I have.
If it works well for you to set multiple goals, one for each part of your business, why not keep doing that?
Your goal could be to keep all the balls in the air and…[Read more] -

I've been struggling with the same thing. I've been accepting the requests, but it feels weird to have all these people who I don't really know on my personal page.

@nicole-van-gremberghe, so the thing I've found most useful for getting followers is to comment on other people's posts (meaningfully, not just clapping hands or hearts). But it takes time, and you have to decide who you should comment on. That said, I don't have tons of interaction and would like to have more likes than I get.

@tara, I just have a little follow-up question from the April Q&A. You were talking about a person that does a product based business was for non makers or something like that (at 22:50)? How do I spell that, because I can't seem to find that business anywhere. Do you have a link maybe? Thanks so very much!!

Question. First background. I have been struggling with my map-making. In another thread, @karenrobinson helped me to focus in on my goal for this quarter, but then I thought, “Wait, only ONE goal?” I have been writing my map with multiple goals for the different areas of my business: classes planned, taught for LYS; overall income goal; marketing…[Read more]

@tabitha-dukes Congratulations on reaching that IG milestone. You deserve it, I've been watching you work hard at it!
I think your quality of focusing on the now is a real asset, because when you break down that long term goal into steps, you will shine at getting those steps done.
I had a hard time gauging how long it would take me to…[Read more]

@karen-robinson Thank you so much. Your reply really encourages me in so many ways. I think you nailed it as far as my goal, and I am going to give myself permission to have only one goal this quarter. I am such a go-getter that I overdo everything. Last quarter I had, uh, let's see…six? Maybe that is part of my problem.
