So many things. Moving forward on everything and it feels good.

So I had to quit my traditional job, 1. to take care of my mother and 2. One person was just to mean for the 14 hours a week that I put in there.

Well I did read the responses. What I noticed before I did @lisa-barnes was that it felt a bit like a spinning top/pinwheel, which gave it very nice energy. I think that might be related to the different color weights. Anyway, I think it is quite nice.

@ann-tudor, Good for you! While it is important to have sales, it is also important to price your work properly. Since I famously get the occasional “are you FKM?” about my pattern prices (and they always assure me how they would totally buy it but it just too expensive, I would have so many more sales, etc.) I know what it feels like. Well I did it! I raised my prices – GASP – after mulling this around for months (I know – seriously!) I finished Pay Yourself and was able to really see what my profit margin was and what I needed to do to make what I want. Thankfully I had done Pricing 101 when I first started so I was in the ball park. I was going to increase a few more…[Read more]
