@tanja-osswald – I've personally only run a couple of a-longs, but one of my favorite places to advertise is the KAL Fanatics group over on Ravelry. They currently have over 6000 members watching for the latest KALs/CALs. There's also an announcement thread over on the main Needlework News & Events group. I know there are quite a few groups on…[Read more]

Whatcha workin on?
My main task for the rest of the month is to get some crocheting done (both for patterns and as gifts) and to finish the three patterns for June first.
Besides, I have a couple of tasks I procrastinate on, for no reason, like finishing and publishing two more single patterns from one of my books and translating and publishing…[Read more] -

I could use a boost of my A System of Grading course. It is currently in Early registration which lasts through May 30. On May 31 it goes public, but the discounts disappear. To get the discount you need to log into the product pages with a password: RavASoG
I got the landing page updated to link to all the product pages, and I have a blog…[Read more]

@lisa-barnes …As I said, I'm confused as well. I am also going to the fashion.show. If the SS meetup is indeed on Friday night…you and I can try to find them afterwards and have a catch up along the way ourselves.

@dana-gervais I consider myself a techie. While I don't currently have any business offerings like this, I might be able to help you as I feel quite comfortable working with WordPress. I moved from Blogger to WordPress 4 years ago and have maintained my own site since then. The only piece that you mentioned that I'm unsure about doing would be…[Read more]

Whoops. Forgot to give the password: RavASoG (case sensitive). That will open all the pages. If you want to read the overview and get more here.

Awesome, Jill! I hope it will be a great success! Your links work strangely. The first two go to “page not found”, the others to “this is password protected”.

Jess Cook replied to the topic What do you think about SMS marketing? in the forum Engineering 8 years, 1 month ago
Thanks so much to everyone who responded! As a consumer I tend to agree with you – I don't want messages on my phone! I used to go to a board game store that had a loyalty program that would send me coupons via SMS, which I actually didn't mind, but it didn't happen every day or anything and I shopped there often enough to enjoy knowing when I…[Read more]

I strongly recommend @penny-shima-glanz for anything tech related! She's awesome and doesn't make me feel like an idiot for not speaking the language of the techie. 🙂
Penny probably knows a way to migrate the content of one site to another, too.
I do the content-based work you're describing, but not website updates or maintenance. Generally…[Read more]

I really enjoyed this one, too!!
I've been trying to think about the people who are already super-fans of my work – the clients I've worked with 1:1 who have been happy with what I had to offer. I think about what I've done for them that they have loved, and how I could make them even happier (aka, be even more helpful to them as they grow their…[Read more]

Hi all- Still trying to understand when our meetup is. @tara are we still meeting on Friday, even though that conflicts with the Fashion Show? If so, I'll join you after the fashion show, around 7, if you are all still around.
@ann-tudor, the BCS dinner is for the new “segment group” that includes designers, teachers, technical editors,…[Read more]
