What do I do to deal with perfectionism? Nothing – or nothing that works. My costs far exceed my sales so far, and that's without charging anything for my time. I'm hoping It'll get better with practice.

I found my logo designer on Etsy. She had a catalogue of pre-made logos and I liked her aesthetic. I contacted her and she designed mine and sent me all the files. I think I paid about $100 (but my logo is super simple and I had no special file requirements).

For me, perfectionism is a real problem. (Don't ask me how long I've been working on my current design – it's too embarrassing to admit to.) But I don't know what I can do about it really. I try to keep it quick and simple, but the (rare) feedback I get tells me it isn't right, and it takes forever to get anywhere.

Finding the right persons for feedback is very important, I agree. It does not always help to ask just whoever is at hand.

….as to show stopping…yes, it is a big project with lots of color and splash…and really fun to wear. However, there were some other truly gorgeous pieces in the show that were unfortunately lost due size and distance from the audience.
