I'm coming from the yarn production side of things, but I would say that if you're selling yarn and only covering your cost + shipping, then you're priced way too low. If you're struggling at that price point, other B&M stores are, too. I would pay less attention to what other people are selling and focus on what you are bringing to the table.…[Read more]

I'm just gonna chime in with my two cents from the consumer side of things. I do shop mostly online for yarn, but that's because my two closest LYSes are unpleasant to shop. If I had a good LYS I would pay a little bit more for the same yarn there for a variety of reasons:
