Hi Nicole, thanks for sharing this blog! I read the post you linked and found her point about listening very interesting.
I mostly listen (or watch) podcasts, and one that I've been listening to lately is called Creative Empire on iTunes. I'd love some suggestions for any must-read blogs or must-listen/watch podcasts related to running creative…[Read more]

Lisa,
I can help you out with this. I currently use InDesign to format my knitting patterns. As well as being a knitwear designer, I am a tech editor, writer and small business consultant/virtual assistant. You can find a full list of my services here.
I sent you an email last week, and just realized I didn't get a reply. Darn that Mercury…[Read more]

Kristan MacIntyre replied to the topic Do you buy silver jewelry? Can you check my prices? in the forum Engineering 8 years ago
Hi Riin.
I use a formula similar to @sara-mccormick
& adjust from there, partly from experience, partly by comparison.
If you ever want someone to double check prices, I'd be happy to.

I have my What the Fade kits on my site now. There's 10 and only one of each of them so each one will be completely original. I'd love if you all would share them.

I just wanted to post an update, and thank all of you amazing Captains for the great advice/suggestions.
The creative groove is starting to return, but now there is a great deal of pressure off as I have started a part time job close to home, for about 20 hours a week. It's perfect. It is allowing me to get some regular income as well as give me…[Read more] -

Ditto what Dawn said: if you really hate it stop now.
And I second (and third) everyone: Megan's class is really great for Pinterest traffic! That said, she and I have talked about this lots and Pinterest is a Looooong term strategy. Most people don't see results right away! When it comes to a blog (or podcast), I'd give it a year of weekly…[Read more]

Hi all- I need someone to help me layout my knitting patterns in an In-Design template. This person needs to be detail-oriented (knowledge with working with style guides a plus) and has to have some experience working with knitting patterns (or just be a knitter).
If you know of anyone (or you can do this), please email me at Lisa@LMBDesigns.com.…[Read more]
