I like the idea you are going with. I do not have an Etsy shop but what I have done with my online shop is add a “What Customers Are Saying” section. I have the most interaction on IG so when someone sends me a great message or posts something nice about one of my products, I will copy the comment and then send that person a message asking if…[Read more]

I like your new idea a lot better! That way you know you're getting reviews from your right people, the ones who love you. And those reviews will probably sound more enthusiastic than ones that were written to get a discount (even from the same person).

The only thing I would add is something like “Thanks in advance for your help!”
