I had been at my ‘job' for 18 years so when I left to do my biz full time, they just told everyone I was retiring. 😉 Now I run into people who knew me from there, they all think I am just hanging out!

I kind of doubt it; I know a lot of us really check out the What's New display (I took a gazillion photos which I used on my blog). I often end up going to look at booths because I saw it there when I would have missed it otherwise. Yes @jill-wolcott, I agree with giving out biz ones with actual markers only to shop owners, etc. I will just give out the cards to everyone else.

I thought about doing Sample It. I am still deciding on that. As far as What's New, I am afraid my little markers would get lost.

@ann-tudor I think that the stitch marker cards should go to people who are likely buyers or to designers you want to promote (based on an agreement to do so). I can do some time at your table.

Make it easy to see what you sell. Have small things for people to take away with them (business cards or bookmarks, not huge amounts of paper–people have to carry it). Have a mailing list sign up. Nice display that is clear.
