I don't think that having a long URL is horrible and angeliasmithrobinson isn't really all that long. I do worry that with just the initial, angeliasrobinson, that it might be easy for people to miss the s and go to angeliarobinson.com which is already taken (too bad!) and end up on that site instead. So for that reason, I'd go with…[Read more]

Karen Robinson replied to the topic Setting up a Yarn Club – tips/advice needed in the forum Engineering 9 years, 6 months ago
Yes, I'm learning that there are lots of details! And for this go-round of the club, I'm just going to have a list of suggested patterns; your hat will for sure be on the list for the yarn that will be going out in the first shipment.
I've been considering doing things like adding in some goodies (there are some stitch markers on Etsy that I saw…[Read more]

I like “Spreading love one piece of jewelry at a time” best, but for the shorter ones I prefer Share/Sharing. “Share love through jewelry” could be a nice backup super-short version.

Have you thought about:
ShopAngelia
HelloAngelia
LoveAngelia
or some version of that?
I would not worry too much about the email address most people will just respond to one you sent, or click on the contact form. -

In chat I shared that I am working on a new tag line and that I had spoke to Tara at my 1:1 of my work being sharing love. Love, support, friendship, giving is super important to me and I realized just how much after our friend Joe was killed when a fork lift fell on him.
After the whole copying accusations, which I thought wold kill me, I am even…[Read more] -

I'm continuing my thread on my search for a new URL. Here's a link to the first part of the discussion on the old board.
Tara suggests sticking as close to my name as possible. And I think Joeli's thread started me thinking about bringing in my maiden name. So I'm now looking at:
AngeliaSRobinson.com
AngeliaSmithRobinson.com
I was leaning…[Read more]

That is awesome! I like your idea of nurturing your current ones. And fabulous about recognizing how much progress you really did make.
My mind has been in similar circles…not so much growth, but doing what I'm already doing better.
I agree on the numbers and tax time. Thus is my first round doing this and that aspect is one of my weak points.…[Read more]

Liz Gipson started the topic Need new wholesale distribution channel in the forum Engineering 9 years, 6 months ago
I'm bummed on so many levels about Unicorn closing, but it was inevitable. They were my wholesale distributor for my Yarnworker patterns. Does anyone here distribute their pattern to shops and if so how do you do it? I think there was a discussion about wholesale distribution at one time so point me there if need be.

Last night I spent some time working on Charting my Stars. I didn't realize just how much work I did this past year until I wrote it all down. Holy cow!!! I have been so consumed by the feeling of not seeing results that I didn't really realize just how much I accomplished in such a small amount of time. I think have the problem is that I'm…[Read more]

If you had left it to me to choose, I would have picked Orkney. 😉 I like both button choices (the leaves are so cute), but those tiny blue buttons just feel like they would work really nicely, so since you said Orkney is what you're leaning toward this morning, that's what I'm going to go with. I've had the yarn soaking and it's now ready to be…[Read more]
