If it's on your mind this much I think you're feeling a disconnect with the current name and need to change something. You, most of all, need to be comfortable with your business name.
I prefer adding either of the taglines you list. Both would show an outsider that you're not about kitchen recipes, tips and tricks. Otherwise, I would go for…[Read more]

So I have a tech editing course which has homework assignments and students have 3 months from when they sign up to complete the course and get my feedback on the homework. After the 3 months I give them answer sheets and videos of me talking through each assignment.
So now the problem! I have a student who didn't complete the course in time but…[Read more]

I'm still so torn on this issue.
My people (those that follow me on Instagram) are all saying “don't change! we love your name! It's unique and we get it.” And that's great and I want to respect them and their opinion.
But new people (those that might come across me in the industry, youtube partner managers looking at my channel to try to help…[Read more]

Just took a look at your site and Facebook group and think it looks great. It was a little hard to find how much the membership costs- maybe add that info to your homepage too. A free month would give people a chance to try the program; be sure to remind people when the free month will end so you don't have people forgetting they signed up and…[Read more]

Don't forget Riin of Happy Fuzzy Yarn. I'm knitting with her Corrie Sock right now and it's luscious.

Do I dare make it as a pullover with great neckline? I dislike that many purls and rarely wear tight cardigans. Just afraid that when I got to the neckline part I'd have a diff. gauge going back & forth. Any input on that? Maybe I need to bite the bullet on the purling and just hang with friends to get it done.

I was able to sell two non-working machines on CraigsList. I made it clear in the listing that they weren't currently working, and I didn't charge much. The guy who bought them was handy with things like that so he expected to be able to fix them and then either use them or re-sell them (I'm not sure if he ever did either of those things). So I…[Read more]

I was able to sell two non-functioning sewing machines on CraigsList. The guy who bought them knew going in that they weren't currently working, but he was handy so he felt he could fix them himself. Obviously I didn't charge a lot, but for someone who's good at fixing those things they could repair it themselves and either use it or re-sell it at…[Read more]
