My first self published pattern is on Ravelry (for about 2 weeks now) and I didn't know about this thread! This is great.

ps: I have already watched a few Youtube how-to videos and have bookmarked a few places on Google groups to read as well.

The videos I watched get into bitrates and things like that, which I'm not familiar with. I'm a good Windows tech and I am a singer with performing experience but the video/sound stuff is outside my expertise.

I'm also really excited about Chart Your Stars this year. Last year I started being super-busy at the day job in January and never got through it, but this year I've already started and I've already learned a ton (like how much my overcrowded studio is really bothering me)!
