@katherine-dasilva This is great realization! And it's totally ok (and normal!) to have a month where you just don't get as much done (I know several Captains take it really easy in Jan, because they need recovery from the holidays!).
@angelique-stewart Yay! It sounds like you have a great plan for this month! Can't wait to see it happen!

I COMPLETELY agree, @tanja-osswald !
To sum it up: Your Starship is about your customers and that something is not important for you does not imply it is not important for others.
You've really challenged me to explore how my perception of the Starship is different than the members'. Since changing sites (and losing old conversations) is,…[Read more]

Ha! I absolutely love reading this!
Last night I had a dream that when I wanted to read someone's blog, they came over and handed me a handwritten piece of paper. It was great!

Whatcha workin on?
12 million things. Or that's what it feels like anyway.
– matching up projects to test knitters and sample knitters (thanks to everyone who answered all of my questions about those two!)
– realized a few of our colorways are accidentally identical to other colorways (it happens) so I need to eliminate the new unintentional…[Read more] -

Whatcha working on?
Still feel like I’m catching up! From TNNA, from trip to Seattle, and from Craftsy Instructor Summit travels. What’s going well on?
I’m making necessary phone calls to get things lined up for preparing out house to sell (been putting it off out of laziness). When James, my friend/realtor, offered to set up the stager inter…[Read more] -

Holding off on any booking of craft shows in November then…
I'm in France, so have no ideas on venues etc, but somewhere in the south would be so much easier. -
Angelique Stewart replied to the topic Vision Board Workshop in the forum Engineering 9 years, 6 months ago
Cool workshop idea! A single session makes sense to me. Would people bring their own magazines or prints to make an actual board, or is it more instruction and then they go home and do the work? For me to sign up for a workshop like that, I'd need some concrete ways it'd benefit me. I've seen vision boards, but I don't really get how you're…[Read more]

what are you working on? All the things. Well, almost. I'm waiting on some yarn so I can move forward on two sample projects.
what's going well? In general, things are progressing nicely on all project fronts. This morning seemed against me — everything has taken 10x as long as it should and there were other potholes in the road, but I'm…[Read more]

You are right, @jill-wolcott, it is a big step! I could actually check off one of my mile markers for this quarter. 🙂
And I take care to treat my crochet obligation as a treat for reaching the mile marker. 🙂 -

Whatcha Working On?
This week, I've been proofreading my book (the layouted version from the publisher). Besides, I'm crocheting on a lace shawl and hope I'll finish it in time to include a picture in said book.
I have to prepare some stuff for the class I teach next Saturday.
There is some pattern work on the back burner. What’s going w…[Read more]
