Friday evening at Melt sounds great! We're leaving here just before noon so we can check in on time.
Sorry I haven't popped back in – I have been really trying to get the work done so we can not stress the entire time we're there! Kelly and I even went “offsite” for coffee house writing all day long on Saturday.
@riin-gill if you change your…[Read more]

Hey there!
I am trying to figure it all out. I am three hours away, getting there is no problem, just concerned about driving home. I may bring someone with me! I will let you know in a day or two -

Ok, since I haven't heard anything else, I'm making an Executive Decision 🙂
We'll meet at Melt at 6:30 on Friday, 2/19.
Reply here if you can make it and I'll see if they take reservations (if not, I'll go 5 min early and put our name in.)(I'll eat there whether you guys reply or not, but I'd like to know how many to get the table for! I…[Read more]

Thank you guys for your thoughtful posts! That is a lot of info to process, though some of it doesn't apply because of the nature of my biz.
I'm going to keep with the looser experiments for February, I think, and try to firm up an open/close format like Tara has (and keep participating in the scopes I see!). Then in March I'll see if I can work…[Read more]

Hello!
I would appreciate your opinions about whether it is important to have the same avatar/photo everywhere I am online? At the moment, there are between three and four avatars, depending upon when I set them up. I have a photo of my face, one of my feet, a vintage illustration that used to my logo, etc.
I believe the standard advice is to…[Read more]

I'm not ready to do such a restrictive diet but I do need to get back to eating the right portion sizes and proportions for my Diabetes. In solidarity, I will start tracking my food intake in My Fitness Pal (which syncs to Fitbit) again starting on the 16th. I hope that will help, @c-c-almon!

I saw the logo when you posted on Instagram and thought it looked wonderful. I just checked your website and see the main logo. So pretty! And I think it really goes well with the picture of you that you have on your website. I'm so excited to see your successful rebranding!

I started transferring all of Joeli's Kitchen to Joeli Creates! And have a new logo, again! lol! (For those of you that are new, I just had a bunch of new logo drama 6 months ago and ended up with a logo that I didn't love. So I did the process again for my new name and am so much happier!)
you can see one version of the new logo at http://www.joelicreat…[Read more]

Here's the information I have gathered about Periscope right now that might help. (I'm putting together a class). If you want me to analyse your business specifically @amy-crook and different scopes you could do I'm happy to. I do wonder if something like Twitch might be better for streaming drawing though.

It's a gorgeous shawl, @tanja-osswald! I'm thinking of crocheting it later in the year. I've queued and favourited it in Ravelry and meant to share but was interrupted. I'll go back and share it now before I forget again!

Great question, @tanja-osswald. It's not so much a constraint as a guideline. I notice in my coaching I seem to do my best work with people in that age range. Not always, of course, but for now, in general, that is who I will target my marketing toward. Anyone who signs up is welcome to attend, and personally I like the idea of a wide variety of…[Read more]
