Wednesday again!
Whatcha workin on?
Book proofs. I'm almost halfway through maybe the last round of corrections… I hope we can call it finished tomorrow.

What’s going well?
People buy my new shawl! It is the most expensive pattern I published so far and I don't p…[Read more] -

Yay @kimberley-bridgwater!!! It's such a good idea to have a baseline.
I made it through Day 1 even though I woke up yesterday morning with a killer migraine that is still hanging on today. The first week is supposed to be rough, so I'm trying to be understanding of myself.
Dami isn't doing it with me, nor is the Hubs. So I'm on my own here.

After reading the info on Mailchimp about permission to add people to my list, I have decided to put a sign up form on my business Facebook page and website for now. People signed up at various craft shows to find out where I'll be selling next but most only gave me a cell phone number- very few gave me an email address, Just put it up on…[Read more]

Karen, I'm not a lawyer and being married to one doesn't matter. I think that this is entirely unclear. I would get specific permission to publish and sell in another form. My presumption would be that they are restricting your rights to use their work (photos, edited pattern, etc.), but since it isn't clear I would seek clarification before…[Read more]

My personal opinion is to use the same or similar images everywhere. I don't know why anyone isn't being straightforward about who they/their business is. That said, I am middle-aged and I am my business.

It's Day 1 and I have started off by logging my breakfast. I don't plan on making any changes this first week but just seeing where I am number-wise. Next week I'll start getting stricter about what I'm eating.
Good luck, @c-c-almon & Damaris!

I have ladies from the USA, to Canada, and even Russia. I can't wait to see what these artists create with our yarns and fiber!!
