Still loving doing the drawing a day. Wednesdays are a bit of a challenge since I teach all day, but might try to fit it in before I go.I sorted through EVERYthing on my desk yesterday. I’m still working on my list, but it feels like it is much less cha…[Read more]

eli has been building resources on various us metro areas, from population, to housing prices, to more (he keeps adding things). *HE* designed his site and it's geared for a different audience but perhaps you'll find it interesting & useful. I'm quite proud of all the data analysis, *automated* report building, and map drawing he's doing. You can…[Read more]

Whatcha workin on?
I'm training another assistant to dye this week. My assistant who has been dyeing is off Tuesdays now, and this week she's in the hospital. I think she'll be back Monday, but I'm not sure.
I kind of want to just sleep all day. My throat still hurts, and I'm really tired. But we're working on some orders that have deadlines…[Read more]

So here's the thing. I've lived in Ann Arbor since 1987. I love Ann Arbor. I love a million things about it. But the cost of living is not one of them. The simple awful truth is I really can't afford to live here.
Rob and I have talked about moving somewhere cheaper, but we don't really know where. If/when we move, it wouldn't be immediately. It…[Read more]

I don't like photos of myself, so for years I used pictures of softies I made or other stuff as my Avatars. But for a business, a face is better, I think. A logo has an anonymous feeling, like your company is hiding behind it. Your feet are arbitrary. We are humans, after all, and a friendly face can go a long way. It stirs emotions that you…[Read more]
