Jill I hesitated because I am mostly a crocheter and I didn't think I would be relevant! – I would be glad to do December if you would like!

On the Old Starship, @lisa-barnes posted a list of platforms such as ruzuku for teaching online classes ourselves.
I thought I had saved all those links, but….. apparently not. Did someone save them and can you share them here?
I am working on mapping out the rest of the year and quarter 3 is all about teaching.

@penny-shima-glanz If you could put me in touch with Lars on the print side that would be great! I cant seem to find him here on Starship.
@c-c-almon Anything you want to share about the process would be fantastic! You are the 2nd person to recommend Ingramspark and I have been looking into them. I have a background in Adobe so I think I could…[Read more]

@jess-cook you are so welcome! I want to take this class. I know I need a va for my social media and some other stuff. I just have to figure out where to give up control and how! (my type a personality)

Yes, a two rebel household is … interesting. By best friend is one too. We get into all kinds of trouble! Luckily my son is not!

I think writing memories you have and sharing with her family is a great idea. I lost my dad before I got to know him and one of the things that brought me closer to him was to hear a few simple anecdotes from someone who knew him.

If you need any encouragement, feel free to tag me. One of my girls has an auto-immune condition and we eat a very restrictive diet normally to keep her gut inflammation free and her thyroid healthy. It was really hard at first, but now it's normal to me. I'm happy to pass on any recipes!
Oh, and I should point out that I do cheat – I still drink…[Read more]

I appreciate your insights! Now that I'm not so mad, I definitely agree. (Not that I disagreed before, I just wasn't feeling “businessy”). If I haven't heard from her on Monday, I'll give her a call to see what if anything else I need to provide. We're rapdily approaching my “do or die” deadline on the schedule due to family obligations…which…[Read more]

I am so sad. My experience is that nothing needs to be immediate except a sympathy note–send to the church.
I suggest we do something coordinated to give to Paul and Henry in a year. Henry will eventually want ways to connect to his mom. I suggest writing anything you may want to share now while it is immediate. It drifts away more quickly than…[Read more]

Karen replied to the topic Exclusive Products in the forum Engineering 9 years, 5 months ago
Ann, I would ask her if she wants them to be exclusive to her shop. I think that is just building a bridge and only fair since it is a special order. If that is something she wants, then talk to her about increasing the price by 5%-10% since they are exclusive. Like Tanja, why the one time fee?

Tanja Osswald replied to the topic Exclusive Products in the forum Engineering 9 years, 5 months ago
Tough questions. Why would it be a one-time fee? My first reaction was that if they don't sell at all, the shop will lose on the fee. If they sell really well, you will. Why not make them a bit more expensive for exclusivity? Patternfish does that (an online plattform for selling knitting and crochet patterns): If you sell the pattern just through…[Read more]
