AH!!! Its tatting! 🙂 Or needle tatting. I haven't yet, but I promised my grandmother (dad's mom) in 1976 the last time I saw her before she passed that I would learn because she didn't live long enough to teach me. (I was 9) I need to keep that promise. I am now the proud owner of all her tatting supplies.

Lisa, I'm going to send you bookmarks for both my Craftsy class and patterns–it is an experiment, not pure generosity. Can you tell me how many to print? I'll do them and mail them because they are a pain but I'm quite familiar with doing it.

Because I am a better editor than namer. How about Happy Fuzzy Magic Box. I would do it Happy.Fuzzy.Magic.Box. But that is me.

Congratulations Penny. I loved it and have set it up to go up on all social media today. I have finally gotten one of my tools (coSchedule) that works with Pinterest, so it will also post to a board there!

what's going well? Despite every nerve in my body telling me it wasn't ready yet (note: not that it needed to be perfect, just that it wasn't ready) and I should stop, pause, and work further on X, Y, and Z, I released a pattern yesterday (meet Ayrton). I'm in the introvert quandary of loving the attention and good thoughts the design is receiving…[Read more]

I drove myself to the post office yesterday. Ok, that's not really the big news (though it was a “first” for my driving solo, which is as frustrating to Eli as to me, that I didn't have much opportunity before now).
Here's the real news: I released a pattern!
Instead of working it up and then getting caught up in perfectionism and having it…[Read more]

ok. after lots and lots of thoughts — i think it would be meaningful for us to write a letter to Henry and/or to Paul. Tell him a story. “Hi Henry, I knew your mom through a community of creative business owners. We'd chat weekly and I followed the work your mom was doing with her business survival organs. One day she did/posted/said X and it…[Read more]
