TO everyone here:
I'm so glad you started this study group! Yay!
I did want to let you know that I'll be re-releasing it (ie, inviting the public to buy it) in mid-April, and sending the Starship an invite to it (even though there's absolutely NO difference in you signing up now, or later!), so you'll probably get another round of Captains…[Read more] -

TOTALLY independant, @tanja-osswald!
Effective Blog is half me, half Diane, (and it was created years ago), so it has stuff in it that's not in CYM.That said, the principles hold true for any tool, so you'll definitely come across the principles (know your goal, decide on a tool, create a course of action) in CYM!

@tanja-osswald What @amy-crook said, not sure on the kg. As my weight goes down so will my daily intake of water. That's the plan anyway 🙂

Thanks, @amy-crook! I tried to find a general converter and failed, but typing in the full question gave me results. It is about 68 kg and a bit more than 2 liters. So there's no nice formula for my metrics but the rule of thumb 1.5 – 3 liters a day works.

@tanja-osswald You can go to google and type in “[yourweight] kg in lbs” and it will do the math for you. And then “[number] oz in liters” and it'll figure it all out. I have forgotten all the conversions I used to struggle to remember thanks to google, heh.

Yay for taxes, on-schedule-ness and dyer groups!
Maybe your question would be good in an extra thread? What I learned for myself is that I must not over-schedule things. I love to make plans but if they don't leave me enough room to live, I won't follow them.

Thanks, @amy-crook! 150 lbs are about 75 kg, right? So for 75 kg you should drink a bit more than 2 liters?
@jill-wolcott, that is so true! I'm much better at keeping up with things if I can make myself proud of every small step. The all or nothing approach usually leads to nothing but frustration.

That should say I am an all or nothing. I do strive to be the queen of recycling and have to have a conversation with myself about every plastic bag I don't drag to a recycling place.
This morning I courageously looked at my Craftsy numbers again. Since it was Easter I had low expectations, but I had 7 more students. I immediately started to…[Read more]

I laughed @tanja-osswald – I was thinking the exact same thing. So thanks @amy-crook for clarifying!
@jill-wolcott, that's a really good point – the journey/time + being reminded that we do have value that we often forget as we focus on what we haven't done. After hearing it so many times, it seems I'd know this by now, but I have a feeling…[Read more]

Thanks @amy-crook. That seems a bit more reasonable.
I think the point that doing one thing is all you ever have to do is really important. You don't have to be the queen of recycling, but recycle what you can. I struggle with this as I'm a bit of an all or nothing person.

Just finished Lesson 1. It was hysterical to have the Hubs and Dami describe me for one of the worksheets. Craziness!!!!
My final statement from the Boil It Down worksheet is: “I am super geeky & obsessed with coffee & PINK. My hand knitting patterns are themed, fun, & unique & are waiting for your creative take.”

Whatcha workin on?
1.) I need a new map. I finished my goal for Q1 mid-way through February. It was to get myself & a motherload of yarn to Stitches West and sell the crap out of it. I did that, but I've been floundering a bit since. I'm glad I've had recovery time, but I feel disorganized.2.) I need to finish moving my scheduler and to-do list…[Read more]

@tanja-osswald I believe the formula is to calculate half your body weight in lbs, then drink that number of ounces. So if you weighted 150lbs, you would drink 75oz of water per day to stay at a healthy level of hydration.
