I've done lesson 1. I had done it before, half a year ago, but on a holiday, so I don't have those notes anymore…
My boil it down reads: My patterns explore the full potential of crochet, giving you innovative and sophisticated designs. There is a whole universe of amazing and elegant techniques besides the well-trodden paths – enjoy it! -

@angelia-robinson
I found a roommate for Thursday -Saturday via Ravelry. I'd be open to sharing with you too( 3 in the room) as long as it would be okay with my other roommate and the hotel- not sure if 3 in a room is allowed. There is a couch in the room; I'd be fine with sleeping on the couch.
Let me know and I'll check with my other roommate…[Read more] -

Thanks @christie-minchew (from Instagram), @tanja-osswald, @kimberley-bridgwater, @amy-crook, @karen-whooley! I did this for my drawing exercise last night after Pilates. Otherwise, I just enjoyed the satisfaction of making my goal.

@tanja-osswald A new thread is a good idea! I need to get a better handle on exactly what I want, which is a little bit hard because spring is a really busy time for my family (husband has finals, kids have dance recital, child with broken arm has lots of extra appointments, traveling for SIL's graduation) so I'm having a bit of a time clearing…[Read more]

@karen-whooley Yes, I used OpenOffice for the cover as well. After you get your ISBN number, you can provide that to IngramSpark and they will give you a cover template with the ISBN barcode on it for you to lay the rest of the cover out.
No, I didn't use their marketing services or put it on Amazon. The book is listed through Nielsen UK ISBN…[Read more]

Yay, @jill-wolcott! 1000 is an awesome number of students! And they will go on and spread the news about your class!
What did you do to celebrate? In case you have not found the right thing yet: What about taking half an hour off work and drawing a martini? -

One of my distributor's, Annie's Craft Catalog, owns the magazine. I had no idea @terri. The sales are being led to their sale page but I guess people are looking it up and finding it in my Etsy shop. I wonder why none of the orders are from my website, which also sells the pattern.

I did like 5 of my big things today after getting home from the 9-5! Photography, editing, posting a new product and updating another product. I placed the order for the packaging for 2 upcoming kits. I also created a matrix of all the designs I have in progress. I'm trying to systematize the repeating parts of my process so this matrix is a…[Read more]

Congrats @cindy-willingham! That's so exciting, doubly so cause it's media traction that's converting to sales 🙂
Do you know how it ended up getting featured? When my posts have been shared in the past I like to try and track down the source as a little note in the back of my head, whether I shared it with someone directly or if it was in a…[Read more]

A bit more of an update from me: Dan and I got out to a new park, yesterday (and were then foiled in our plans to go to the coffee shop by it being Easter, whoops) and had a nice walk and talk about Life. I took my camera, which makes for a slower paced walk, but it makes me happy to be using it! I also just got back from my first wellness checkup…[Read more]

@jill-wolcott definitely let me know if you'll be in Seattle! I avoid driving over there like the plague (stick shift plus all those hills? no thanks!), but I'm more than capable of figuring out public transportation. @karen-whooley is nearby and @kristan-macintyre and I recently tossed around the idea of a PNW Captains meetup (and mini LYS…[Read more]
