I think in this case the short, sweet version will be best to start. If they're smart, they'll think of the crossover audience idea themselves, but the fact that they're bothering you at all suggests they might not be smart.

I regularly use the app LetsHashtag to help with my hashtag strategy. I recently went out looking for something better/faster/easier and ended up coming back.

On first reading this, it pretty much sounds like you made up your mind already: The deal is crap, so why should you do this?
Since you ask anyway, I guess you are looking for some reasons to actually submit something. Do you miss working with yarn companies or magazines? If you enjoy the process, it might be okay to do it anyway.

RFP is request for proposal.
My sense is that I could only make the $ work for a one size, stockinette, in the round garment!
This is why I quit doing third party work in 2000! Seems nothing has changed.

What does RFP stand for? I have done a lot of magazine work in the past 1.5 years, and the fees that designers are earning are definitely trending downwards while the rights that the publishers ask for are trending stricter. I have actually turned down a few gigs because we could not come to terms on either $$ or rights.
