Love this idea. But I am teaching Wednesday night. So can't do that.
Maybe Thursday before or after the Market preview would work? I was going to see if we could set up a book signing for Tara, if she wants during the preview? Have to figure out which booth I can do signing in myself.

Oh! Thanks for this Katie!
I'm talking to Caitlin about doing webinars for each other, and it's possible that when she does a webinar for my audience (aka, you guys), she'll include a coupon code. At the very least, her webinars are crazy-useful (I learned a lot from each one I've watched).I was totally ignoring her (b/c Comparison Trap!)…[Read more]

@angelia-robinson @susan-heyn @laurinda-reddig Ok! Let's plan for dinner (around 6?) on Wednesday night. If you guys have a restaurant recommendation, lemme know! Otherwise, I'll look for some options in the next month, then come back here and update you (and I'll put in the weekly email, so anyone can join us!)
Oh, are you guys cool with going…[Read more] -

Excellent, @julianna! I like to see how this fits together! It reminds me of something @joeli-kelly did a few quarters ago…I think it was something like “observe” and she learned lots!

@jessica I'm glad you asked for help! I think this is a GREAT goal!
The only thing I'd suggest (because I don't think you had a specific question here? If you do – lemme know!) is to define what “Successful launch” means to you. Put some numbers on it, so you know what you're shooting for, and so that you can celebrate when you hit it (or know…[Read more] -

@lindsay-brooke Exactly what @tanja-osswald said! If you know what you need to do to reach that income goal, just do it!
Some people can break a goal down into actions super-naturally, while others need the process. It's only here if you need it, but do NOT let it hold you back from doing the actual work! -

@kathi-snodgrass
1. I have 12 mile markers. Should I cut it down to 10.
Whatever makes sense for you goal! Just be sure they are SUPER related to your goal (not random projects you're throwing in)2. I want to complete most of the mile markers in April as the LA Yarn Crawl is the 14 – 17 and most of my mile markers have to do with finishing the p…[Read more]

First: I love everyone's goals! This is my favorite part – seeing what y'all are working on!
@barbara-kish That's a totally normal feeling! Star Charting calls for a lot of big thinking and always makes me a little woozy/dreamy 🙂

@cindy-willingham Congrats on hitting your goal so early! That's fantastic!
Pay Yourself walks you through figuring out profit/loss/overhead/break even, and it sounds like that's what you're needing next!
I don't have a class on inventory, but you can start a thread about it (or search the forums, they may already be a discussion that covers…[Read more] -

That's an amazing list, @tanja-osswald! I like to list what I did at the end of each day (I get a free email prompt from I Done This) and write down the big things on a page in my planner– that way it's always handy)

My Q1 goal was to get on a steady schedule and have the same basic outline of content for my newsletter. My schedule is every other Tuesday (I'd eventually like to make it every Tuesday). I've met that goal throughout Q1 and it's now feeling like a steady routine. So I'm in for helping others who want to get on a steady schedule–I'm happy to do…[Read more]

Going well: I had one of my big fiber festivals (DFW Fiber Fest) this past weekend (it's my “home” show and is getting bigger and better every year and I'm thrilled to be part of it). It went extremely well. I had three sales goals I was aiming for (“if I don't make X, I'll be sad,” “If I make Y, I'll be happy,” and “If I make Z, I'll be…[Read more]

Working on- I have 6 craft shows coming up between April 16 and June 4, so making a lot of inventory for them all. Also working on submissions for the CGOA Design Competition and a few other submission calls. Working on Chart Your Stars/ map making this week- decided on an income goal for the quarter and working on my mile markers.

what's going well? I'm chipping away at all the things. Settling into life with no routine yet again this week, made easier today by extra coffee and an hour away from the house.
what are you working on? With no-schedule I discovered that for now, Friday afternoons isn't the best for Craft Your Marketing (CYM), but my semi-weekly trip for coffee…[Read more]
