Doing last minute prep for 2 events this weekend- one is later today , the other on Sunday. Set a BIG sales goal of $1000 for both days. I'll post on Monday to let everyone know if I reached my goal.

It is an hour before noon and I prepared six pattern for translation – the last ones from my book. I had been procrastinating on this for weeks until my translator suggested that maybe I just need a holiday like regularly employed people do. And she was so right. Last week, I was in Nijmegen and then I slept for two days. It worked.
Now, I just…[Read more] -

So I actually haven't responded at all and she seems to have stopped emailing me.
And I think I'll leave it at that.
It feels like an attack to me, like you said, Tara, and it was taking up so much of my mental capacity. I was originally thinking about sending an email that basically says something polite like Amy said, answer pertinent…[Read more]

I sell digital products, too.
I have a clearly stated no refund policy, but I also have a “learning guarantee” which basically says you will learn what I say you'll learn or I'll help you until you do.
I teach jewelry making, so I have eCourses and eWorkshops and then I also sell patterns and eBooks, so it seems relatively straight forward to…[Read more]

My products are digital and though I've only had to refund one so far, I'm curious how the rest of you who sell digital products deal with this. On one hand, I've already created the product. On the other, it feels strange that a customer gets to keep the product for free. I realize this is most likely a personal choice but am still interested in…[Read more]

I made the deadline to submit the completed pattern, chart, etc. to Knit Picks.
My shawl will be published in the fall. This is the first pattern that will be published other than my Ravelry store (ok, I've only submitted 3 or 4 patterns to 3rd parties). I was so nervous that I kept delaying sending them the completed pattern even though it…[Read more]

Thanks @jill-wolcott! See why I put them off and then they take forever to write up? If I can get into a routine of doing any photoshoots needed earlier in the week (or the previous week, when all the email contains is a shop update), I think things will start going a lot smoother. The feedback form linked in this one (which I meant to do as my…[Read more]

@mary-roth. Impressive newsletter! Congratulations.
I had an idea of writing a list of 50 topics like the 50 tasks, then just drawing and writing about whatever I draw. I have a huge sinus headache, so definitely something for another day.

Karen,
I keep pen and note paper in the bathroom so I can write stuff down if I can't sleep. Mitch uses it sometimes too. -

YAY @jill-wolcott! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that scrawls stuff in the middle of the night…

This is kind of a funny one. I have had a pile of notes that I scrawl during the night, during the day, when I'm knitting, etc. They are often the remaining thing in a longer list. I have transferred them all onto real paper and thrown them away. Someday I will do the same with passwords.

@jill-wolcottolcott @karen-robinson
Thank you for the feedback. I think I will write a post announcing that I am putting my blog on hiatus due to time constraints and to focus on my newsletter. Once I have a few newsletters under my belt, and have found my rhythm with them, I will do as Karen does and post excerpts from my Newsletter to my blog…[Read more]

Hiya yall & Happy Friday! I've put together a page on the Geeky Puffin Knit Palooza retreat website as was suggested in this week's chat. I've put a short description, click to tweets, web friendly images, a press release, social media profile pics, etc. If there's something you think that should be there that isn't, can you please let me know?…[Read more]
