Firstly, I think we should have a Q + A Yay thread because I don't know about you guys, I love to respond to the great replies I get on Q + A calls.
Secondly, I asked Tara (condensing) “how do I come up with new stuff to stay when I've already said everything?” and this is the resulting brainstorming session. So it's kind of about being…[Read more]

Thank you so much for taking time to share this story!
It's such a great morale booster for doing big and vulnerable stuff and expecting the best in people until proven otherwise.
Yay!

Thank you @jill-wolcott and @karen-whooley. I was just not sure how to word it. That sounds perfect. I am not upset and don't want her to be uncomfortable. I do need to make a policy about custom orders! That will be my project for the upcoming days.

I agree with @jill-wolcott. She said it perfectly and yes 50% up front for custom orders in the future! That makes perfect sense!

My stitch mastery problem right now is how do you get stitches to go over more than one stitch. I recently did a pattern that created 3 stitches out of one. The symbol is a V with a 3 in it. Even though it says it uses one stitch and creates 3, it only shows one stitch so the chart doesn't line up. Does that make sense?
Maybe I need to play…[Read more]

@ann-tudor, she probably has a cash flow problem. I would just say that you would like to put them up on your website if she isn't able to go through as planned. No problem for you, but you also didn't want to assume she wasn't still interested. Let her off the hook and let her know you are looking forward to doing business in the future.

As many of you know, I have recently started selling wholesale to LYS. I am so excited that it is going well but I have hit a bit of a snag. One of my wholesale clients placed an order and a reorder. Mid March she requested a custom set of stitch markers for a collaborative project that was to be launched in April. We went back and forth with…[Read more]

Such a gift.

Another vote for StitchMastery here! I love it. I also use Word to draft my patterns.

I use stitch mastery too for my knit patterns! I use a the same graphic artist that Karen does who uses in-design for my layouts and is partners with a photographer who is now doing my photography!

Thanks so much sweetie! I'm keeping on with Whole30 until at least 100 days (today is day 66). Then I'm still debating whether to try to add back in a couple of things (cheese & rice!) or to just stay with a Whole30 plan except for special treats (birthdays, etc.).
