I recently went back and redid my first two books. They were super outdated format wise and the editing was a touch dodgy.

I updated them and then announced it in my newsletter, shop announcement and all my social media.

Because I use Etsy I also had to manually send each previous buyer the new copy – so that was fun.

The patterns on Ravelry are easy. You can do it in your pro account and previous buyers will automatically get the updated patterns. That's what I did as I decided what format and brand I wanted when I first started designing. But that was only a few patterns before I decided on my layout.
