I started with Marnie Maclean's tutorials – http://marniemaclean.com/blog/tutorials.html#.VzTEdoRfnQI – and then I kind of youtubed it from there. I'm actually thinking of signing up for Lynda.com again to really hone my skills.

@corrina-fergeson How did you learn Illustrator? Did you know it before you started designing? Take a class? Take an on-line class?

I'm pretty good with software, but might like some type of course.
