@linda-tieu, technology seems capable of either making us happy or bringing us to our knees! I'm with @lea-ann-mcgregor. I tend to think it is worth paying to have support. @penny-shima-glanz do you have any plug in suggestions? But don't look back! Move forward and see if you can make it a win.

What a great idea, and thank you so much for doing it! I'm not sure I actually have a picture of myself, though…I try to stay behind the camera. 🙂 I do have plans with a photographer for head shots, but I'm not sure when that will happen. Can I be like, the last one on the list to post to the blog? The odds of a real picture would improve…[Read more]

I feel the need to do a mid-monthly reorientation, based on an email conversation I had with Tara. Some of you will remember that I was fluffing around with this idea earlier in another sort of shape earlier too, but I haven't been able to get a sense of cohesion-and worse, I couldn't figure out why.
I've talked about making a pretty big shift in…[Read more]

Do you think membership website for digital downloads can work as a business?
— if you are making your financial goals i'd say yes. What would you do in this kind of technical meltdown?
— I'd send an email to all customers and shut off ordering so you can evaluate the problem. If I just start it all over, how do you get old members to…[Read more]

Linda, My heart sinks just thinking about this. Technology is often the biggest challenge. Can you contact your members and tell them that there has been a problem, that you are shutting down for 3-4 weeks, that you will be sending weekly updates to them with a little treat, and that it might mean migrating the membership someplace else.
I think…[Read more]

First, I think the 3-months with lump sum and installment payment options sounds like a good compromise in giving your subscribers options while at the same time allowing you to be able to better plan the dyeing. I think by giving the installment option, you're helping enough with people's budgets. Although you want to think about your customers'…[Read more]
