Thank you, @jill-wolcott! I phoned my publisher today and she actually shares my concerns about the quality and usability of electronic books. So I'm quite confident now that she won't publish anything that will be an annoyance for the reader.

I do a ton of custom colorways – they make up about 60% of my gross sales. I typically follow the same process for each shop which goes like this:

@tanja-osswald, I don't know the technological ins and outs, but I think craft books are generally ill-suited to ePubs. I think eBooks (a pdf) that can be zoomed are better, although still require a lot of chasing things on the screen.
