Grace Shalom Hopkins replied to the topic I made an opt-in…or did I make a blog post? in the forum Engineering 9 years, 3 months ago
I just wanted to jump in and give some thoughts on making limited content (like promo for a course) work across different platforms without people who follow you in every place getting bored.
I kind of model my guru following life after my social life. I have a small handful of people I LOVE SO MUCH IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY FAN GIRL and the vast…[Read more]

Okay, I tried to add pictures of my dolls in the previous post, but it didn't want to work from my phone…
Here is attempt #2.

I promised to post pics of my Kawaii-style dolls last Wed on the chat, but didn't have pics at that time. so here, you go:

Thanks @karen-robinson! I think I have it figured out. I am making another list and different Opt-In. My two lists will be different people and I am not even close to the paying threshold! I need to work on my email list badly!

Perhaps there is another way, but for my yarn club, I just made a separate list. It's still in my same MailChimp account, but the list itself is separate. That way I could create completely separate opt-in pages. (Go to List and then Create List.)
The disadvantage is that MailChimp counts each list separately. So if you have the same person on…[Read more]

Thanks @jill-wolcott. Yeah!!! I found lists and were to make opt ins but it was my regular opt-in and I did not want to change that! This helps immensely! Yes they are pretty good at hiding stuff in plain sight!

@ann-tudor I've done it so it can't be that hard. But maybe Penny set it up. Go to Lists. Create a list, then use the drop-down options to create a form to embed. Look at the image below.
I think MailChimp is particularly obtuse and perverse in hiding information in plain sight.

I am sure I am making this much more difficult than it needs to be. I want to start a separate newsletter that will just go to my wholesale clients. I am stumped as to how to create a sign-up form that I can attach to an email for them and how to make sure they are in a separate list. I know it can't be hard. I am using MailChimp and have an…[Read more]

I saw that @karen-robinson! Thank You! I also got your email this morning about stock and it was too late to change it. I am sure we will get an email about the stock if necessary!
(I have already sold seven patterns this morning!)

I'm getting ready to launch my new product next weekend. It's sewn dolls/pillows where I have been doing knit/crochet only to this point. I'm really excited to see how they go over
