Sucuri is a great free security plugin, and their paid service if you do get hacked is top notch. I used a plugin called Broken Link Checker, though I don't know very many other people who use it! It's been interesting watching people who used to comment slowly abandon their old sites.

Well it feels like a ghost town here today so I guess everyone has left. Hoping it is like that Saturday when we need to go to the East Bay.
Yes, I am relieved about the market!

@jill-wolcott I am glad to hear that about the market. That must ease your mind a bit.
I am going to be in the bay area this weekend for family stuff. It's a really short trip otherwise I would have contacted you and Amy about getting together. But I will be in Dublin on Friday and Petaluma on Saturday. Fly home Sunday! CRAZY!!!!

@karen-whooley, we don't know the official move to WA yet. Seems crazy. We have to move our stuff out of here by July 18 so the floors can get a new top coat finish, then painting. Realtor is shooting for first weekend in August for listing. What we haven't figured out is whether we need to hang around, or what. I kind of picture us just…[Read more]

Found this site that is free to register for and gives you a grade for each Etsy listing based on your titles, descriptions and tags. I used it to fix my listings and have gotten more views in the past few days. Hasn't been long enough to see any change in sales. It's an interesting tool to try out https://etsyrank.com/.

What are you working on?
Focus! I inadvertently wrote a small book, or am in the process of doing so. Also, preparing classes for TNNA and for Skillshare. What's going well?
I'm getting a lot done, so that's good.I finally got myself out to run after weeks of not doing it. Felt really good. I've got so many things interfering right now, but…[Read more]

what are you working on? Figuring out the timing of all the things. Earlier today I took advantage of the first amazingly gorgeous day (this year?) and sat outside at Starbucks for two hours mapping projects out as much as I can through October (Jewish holidays).
what's going well? Still embracing each day being vastly different and unique and…[Read more]

I contacted customer support at Go Daddy this morning about my site being off center, and got some help to adjust my page settings. Still have more work to do on it, but I think it is starting to look a bit better. Take a look and let me know if it is showing better on screen now- http://www.KnotJustCrocheted.com/

Jess Cook replied to the topic I made an opt-in…or did I make a blog post? in the forum Engineering 9 years, 3 months ago
I just asked Tara a very similar question in the last Q&A (it was about how do I preview/give away content that leads people to buy my e-course without giving away the best parts of the course itself)?
She said that she gives away THEORY and she sells IMPLEMENTATION.
So, in a giveaway like a blog post or an email newsletter, she talks about why…[Read more] -

Whatcha workin on?
Taking things slow and getting better – I got a cold.
When I don't sleep, I crochet some mindless stuff. Right now, it is jellyfish tentacles. What’s going well?
At first I thought there's no point in checking in sick – but I realized I did do quite a lot last week: I published two patterns (one with Linda's illustration, one t…[Read more] -
