Ok so a bit of catch-up for me.
I've got a list of quests, and I went through my website to remove all mention of myself as a VA (which, as it turns out, I hadn't done too often so I think that's good!).
From Challenge 13 I decided that this week I need to prioritize creating 1-2 new pieces of content for my blog, and if there's time after that…[Read more]

Hi all!
As some of you may know, I used to be an indie dyer. I have a fantastic friend named Carrie who was also a really big customer for me, and she has lost a shawl that she made from my fiber (she spun the fiber and knitted the shawl). I feel so awful for her, and she asked me if I would be able to find an indie dyer to re-do that fiber for…[Read more]

Thanks so much @kimberlie-kohler – I think you're right that it's most likely they will go from project to digital product (or vice versa, even) to consulting. Though some may skip the middle step, depending on how much they got out of my project work. And still some others might just choose one thing and that's the only thing they're my customer…[Read more]

So sorry about that @tanja-osswald – here you go: https://www.viacharacter.org/www/Portals/0/Classification%202014.pdf
(If for some reason that doesn't work either, just go to the main site and then in the top menu navigate to “character strengths.” I found it that way.)

Thanks so much, @marcia!
I'm not for hire for everyday tasks but I AM available for special projects or higher-level tasks, and if you want you can e-mail me because I've got a handful of other VAs I can send you the contact info for if you're interested in that type of hire!

Sorry for the delay in responding @karen-whooley. It's been a bit crazy here. My biggest suggestion is to contact podcasters about reviewing and/or doing a giveaway on their podcast. I ended up having 17 podcasts review it and do a giveaway. For the giveaway, I did a copy of the ebook as that really didn't cost me anything once I made the pdf…[Read more]

@alex-collins Yes, thank you! Hah, I love that, too, I should see about some photos of a few other celebs I've read about who knit, and I think there's one lady that does sweary needlepoint on set.

I agree it is a possible path – also you build more and more towards a consultant as you offer more services
ha I have been thinking about seeing if you were for hire – I am plugging away at things learning them little by little
