Watch are you working on?
I'm working on increasing my turnover. I've added classes to the shop and written patterns to help increase in store sales of yarns. Buy the yarn, get the pattern for free. I will also release the patterns on Rav for sale.
I submitted a couple of patterns to an Australian Magazine 3 months ago and have just followed that…[Read more] -

I've got a gym training session until 9A on Tuesday. Will need to clean up and can be in Asheville 10:45-11-ish.
Sounds like, if @tara can make it, we could meet in Asheville for lunch, maybe. @tara, can you suggest a place? I know Biltmore Park area and Biltmore Village. Not so good at Asheville proper.
If you are going through JC, then I…[Read more]

Not saying I'm there, but the article validated my new approach to exercise which is kind of an anti-all-out philosophy. It'll make me feel better when I can't keep up with my biking friend :).
@kristan-macintyre, this is the…[Read more]

Completely flexible @tara and @varian-brandon. We can meet pretty much anywhere. Maybe next time it will be a more planned trip and we can meet up @krista-benskin!

I suppose I have done a little of each of these myself. I've done patterns for kits for both yarn companies and publishers (think I like your option 3 the best, less work for you, benefits of getting pic use, etc..)
In the end I've gone for something like option 4 with my Kit Club (for similar reasons as Dana). But yes, it is a whole new…[Read more]

Thanks very much Jeannie for your awesome thoughts 🙂
The group has been a closed one from the start so that's all good 🙂
I hadn't been checking newbies for troll like characteristics – I will from now on – good idea 🙂
I'm going to schedule a weekly post from me and pin it. That way I can just focus on that discussion and leave the chit chat…[Read more]

Drawing, knitting and running – yay for self-care!

Check your map, are you driving through Johnson City? (oh, I bet you're going south to Asheville…).
I could meet you in Asheville or Black Mountain (a bit farther for me, so I prefer downtown A'ville) – just tell me the date!And of course if you are driving through JC – that's my town! We can meet at my coffeeshop/office 🙂
