Congratulations @elaine-vandiver!!! Your hard work paid off! I always have those “will anyone show up” feelings whenever I do an event as well. Sounds like your system worked! Great Job!!!

I completely understand about everything moving slower than you'd like!
I think this is a great first attempt, I love the charming little illustration especially. I have a couple of suggestions:
– make the circle into an oval to allow your lovely drawing to shine
– having the “handmade in America” in all caps emphasizes it over your shop name,…[Read more] -

Hi Everyone, I have been working away getting my inventory made and at the same time focus on marketing. I am moving slower than I would like but I am now at the stage I need to have a logo for my website. I would appreciate your thoughts and ideas on how I can make it better. I look forward to your response. Bill

Hello 🙂
I've just watched the Q & A – all good stuff 🙂
Just wondering if anyone can tell me about the live chat Tara mentioned for those of us in Australia, New Zealand etc?

Whatcha working on?
Working through the chart your stars worksheets before map making comes up.
What’s going well?
Wholesale site is live, etsy is humming along, I just set up a photo shoot for head shots and product photos in a stylized home setting.
How can we help?
I think I will need some serious hand holding during map making I h…[Read more] -

I wondered if the faded images were due to something like that 🙂 ah well – it's a small thing 🙂

@shelley669537 These are all great tweaks thank you so much! The only thing I cant change is the faded images, they brighten up once someone is logged in, Its a weird quirk but one I have to deal with until shopify has a better solution for wholesale sites. I am currently using an app to “lock” items from view like the prices until someone has…[Read more]

Here’s your space to come every week and check-in on what’s going on.
Answer the questions (in as much or as little details you like):
Whatcha workin on?
What’s going well?
How can we help?We have a weekly LIVE check-in, in the Holodeck, every Wednesday at 2pm EST… but if you can’t make it live (thanks to time zones, schedules or just needing t…[Read more]

Love your signs! My only comment would be that the green type on your FAQ page is a little hard to read. Maybe a darker color or a little larger size text. I think you have done a great job on your site.

Hello 🙂 First off – your site is very pretty and appealing 🙂 No clutter and very clear what's where. I've given you a lot of words, but all about very small things 🙂 You did good!
First off, I re-iterate what Karen has said – it's hard to see the menu options on all the landing page photos, plus remove the negative “Although not hand…[Read more]

Welcome back, @toni-carringer! I agree with Jill. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of wonderfulness that is the Starship. Sometimes we need to unplug and take a break.

I'm about to head out of town, but I took a quick peek. It's very pretty.
Two quick comments:
I'm having trouble reading the menu over the image on the front page of the table under the tree. It's also hard to read on the brick wall image.
I looked at the Texas product (my state), and I noticed that it starts with “Although not hand painted, each…[Read more] -

Hey guys! I got the “locks” up on my site so you can see my wholesale site without seeing prices. I would love everyone's feedback on it. If you landed on it as a retail store buyer does it make sense for the flow? Is it missing anything? Too much of something? Too bland? etc etc. I am asking for constructive criticism so I cam make this the…[Read more]

@elaine-vandiver! So excited that the event went well, but mostly that you found ways to reduce the stress. Now you know how to do it going forward. Yay!

I've got everything electronically, but I love paper. But I know I can retrieve it. Big motivations: 1) use less space, 2) costs $0.70 per pound to move, 3) I don't have to figure out what to do with it in Seattle!
