I agree with Karen! I would go with the KTK header one. As much as I love all the different colors, you really should narrow down the colors as well!

Most branding orgs say 3 max , with one color as your primary.

I'd go with the FTK-header-1 because it's clean and because it has the name of your business. (Otherwise, White-Header-1 is my favorite.)

I do think the multiple colors on the menu is a bit distracting. I'd recommend sticking to a smaller color palette, such as the colors in your title and your heading for Latest Posts and Fairy Tale Knits Krew.…[Read more]

I have an SEO plugin on my wordpress blog. It gives you a score and suggestions to improve the seo of blog posts and even product listings. It also lets you edit the snippet that pops up in search engines and give lots of tips. It's called Yoast SEO – works really well – not that I always pay attention to it 😉

I'm not sure yet… I know I want to change my home page to a static page and I might see about adding a landing page. My wp theme doesn't have one but I'm sure I can find a plug in that will make one. I need to research how much they help hand made businesses and what I need to do for one

I don't work at or own a LYS but did have a thought… If the community is growing WHY aren't sales higher? Does it just need more time? When are they comparing the sales to, the spring or last summer? That sounds good to me Karen. As of now , I don't have plans for Wednesday night. My roommate- a first time conference attendee I met on Ravelry, will be getting in Wednesday afternoon; would it be okay to bring her if we decide to do anything then?
