Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to celebrate my first major press mention on allure.com. It was posted on August 4. http://www.allure.com/gallery/crochet-swimsuits-for-summer Mine is the first brown bikini and my brand is Amy Eve Jo. If you feel so moved, it'd be great if you pin/save/share the story to Pinterest or any of the other places. thanks!

Cool! @lea-ann-mcgregor So far I've been looking at Midland and Monroe. Monroe is where my cousins are and Midland just seems nice (and it's near an airport). Where are you and Tom from? Any suggestions for places that generally walkable?
Oh I haven't looked much into Lansing yet @lynn-hershberger but definitely adding to the list! Any specific…[Read more]

And I forgot to mention that if anyone would like an ebook review copy for Filament No. 1, please send me an email to kathleen@knitfilament.com with “review copy” in the subject line. Anne and I would love to give away copies to your blog/newsletter/podcast followers if you'd like to do a giveaway, too.

I am needing a recommendation for someone that can go over my greetings page of my Christmas catalog to make sure everything is on the up and up. I would prefer someone that knows marketing as well to ensure I am also wording it in a way that would appeal to a shop owner. I am willing to pay for services, I just wasn't in the budget of paying…[Read more]

Hello, my friends!
Just wanted to share that the first issue of Filament will go live before the end of the month. My friend Anne Podlesak (some of you may know her as Wooly Wonka Fibers/Bunnyspinner on Ravelry/ one half of Stitch Definition) and I started talking about putting together a pattern collection some time back, and now we are talking…[Read more] -

Working on: Our local yarn crawl starts on Friday and I'm doing a trunk show at my LYS (I get to take over the whole front room of the shop!). I'm taking a break from the dyeing now and packing up everything I need for the show. I'll be there in person both days this weekend but my yarn and patterns will be there the whole 10 days of the crawl.…[Read more]

Whatcha workin on?
Sigh. Rob's dad is dying. I just found out I have cataracts. I've had a headache for two days. A company in China is trying to buy a Chinese equivalent of my domain name. Someone is selling a copy of a t-shirt I designed and have been selling since 2007 on cafepress (they retyped the text without the copyright and misspelled…[Read more]

@nessa-jay , I live in Lansing, Michigan. It's a good town for creatives, very good for knitting and local music and theater. It's also one of the most affordable housing markets in the USA.
Lansing is the Capitol of Michigan, has about 115,000 residents in the city limits, and Michigan State University is another 80,000 or so next door in East…[Read more]

Whatcha workin on?

Besides, the book proofs arrived this week and I'm…[Read more] - Load More
