That's a really good point, @annette-petavy, and I think I need to have both! But what I'm seeing is that I have a superwash merino, and Yarn Company So and So has a superwash merino, and they're the same weight and ply structure, and my MSRP is $8-12 higher than theirs. You can't lower your prices, so you plan on sourcing cheaper bases.
Is there a place in your market for more expensive yarns, on more exclusive bases?
