What a fun thread! I've gone through so many planners trying to find the perfect one (I did at one point and they discontinued it–ah!) I used an Erin Condren planner last year but there were many parts of it that I didn't use, and I was still constantly writing notes on post-its and jotting down ideas elsewhere. A few months ago, I started bullet…[Read more]

I love CoSchedule for the sharing of my blog, and I kind of forget after Friday to ever say anything about my newsletter again on Social media. @linda-tieu I think you might want to ask yourself where you think you would find people who would be interested in what you offer–and then see if doing a little promotion (posting, maybe engaging) on…[Read more]

Don't know if you're still looking but Airtable is a good cheap/free option as well. They have some ready made CRM templates or you can start from 0 and build your own exactly as you want.

@linda-tieu If you're already consistent on your weekly newsletter, a small step would be choosing one social media outlet that you know or guess your people use, and just share the link to your newsletter a few times over the week on that social media. You can schedule ahead for most social medias, usually for free if you're not doing a ton yet.…[Read more]

Hi everybody! This quarter map making feels much easier than last quarter. Last quarter I wasn't sure what I wanted and stuck a little bit in the shoulds. In fact, there were some mile markers I didn't even touch.
Doing a review of last quarter, last month and the biz confidence challenge, the only goal I could possibly have this Q is to…[Read more]

Thanks @nessa-jay! I started to go through my listing and split my descriptions up into short paragraphs to make them easier to read. I'll do the rest over the next couple of days.

@lea-ann-mcgregor I will make taking that course a priority this month (and listening to the podcast as I type this) thanks for the rec.
@dana-gervais I think you're right, I'm just going to have to figure out how best to juggle both.
@lynn-hershberger Good to know I'm not alone, good luck with the job aps! 😀

Reviewing the last month and last quarter (and my first in Starship!) Here's what I found:
– I basically hate 90% of the products in my shop and they don't even sell any way. Why do I still cling to them?! (getting rid of them soon) This kind of explains why I have such a hard time talking about my work. I'm making a lot of things I'm not really…[Read more]

For formatting I would break the product description up so it isn't one big paragraph. Breaking it up into multiple paragraphs or bullet points if possible helps the buyer skim (which means they are more likely to read it).
Example 1:
“Set of 4 hand crocheted Santa pins, each measures almost 4″ high and about 4” across at the widest point.…[Read more]
