For me I want the book first then in 12-18 months I will offer the single pattern. That is just the most logical way for me to do stuff like this. WHy would someone buy the book if they can already get the patterns individually.

@tanja-osswald, I can't believe you are feeling overwhelmed–but you now you can do it! There are so many things, and you can only do what you can do. I go back to my question of why you have to publish X patterns per month? It seems like it puts an unreasonable burden on you, but maybe I'm wrong.

Can you run ads for a book on Ravelry, too? That might be helpful.

And do you sell the single patterns as pdfs? I'm doing that with my upcoming book; getting the patterns published separately first and then as a book. I like working like this though I don't have experience whether it pushes the book.

I think too many button options can muddy the page so be careful there. I haven't seen your website so can't give opinion on the facilities but I usually look for a link to open a new page for their website. Can you do a website name dot com (take it the sieves) link? Bbpress is probably set up to not allow website links.

Ugh. It really sucks when you get hacked – my last host (vidahost) were lovely but useless 🙁
My fail-safe hack avoidance includes
– hosting with Siteground – they have been brilliant and their online chat/fix guys are awesome and

Ok I think I have my marketing ideas all together for my book. I promised to post here so that all of you could help me sort it out. I want to do ALL the things and I know that I can't. this might be all over the place because of that!
