Good morning! I can see the workshop page now! 🙂
One question about phrasing:
although flesh and hair will be covered in additional teaching.
I'm not a native speaker and the “although” puzzles me. Are you teaching about flesh and hair in that week or in a later workshop?
What about “the focus will be on garment painting but of course we will…[Read more] -

@tara, with your physical goodies – will you pay for shipping worldwide?
And wouldn't it be good to include a new class on the $99 level every quarter or so?

Yes! I hit break even in pre-order last time I did it. It really worked for me and I will do it again, time allowing. I think longer than 6 weeks is too much, but if you ease into the chat about it – less often at the beginning, then gather momentum and build excitement, it all works I've found.

Well earned @s589886! It works! It is always hard to get attention this late in the week, but I'm usually around so I'm happy I could help. Getting it live is the main thing–the details will get sorted. Remind me of that!

midnight! off to bed. Self-care beats web care, even at this stage of the game. Thank you so much for your help so far. I'm not happy with how the page looks yet, so will be trying to see how it could be improved over the weekend.

Hmm. Ha! after huge stress and calls to my tech guys, I think it was the pretty link plugin!
@tanja-osswald @jill-wolcott and @lea-ann-mcgregor could you try it again? I still can't post a direct link lol -

Whoo hoo. I figured out how to do segments so I sent it out to 45 readers, and was able to customize the email for two segments! Feeling very powerful having crushed something on MailChimp. Usually I get crushed.

@tara I think it is fabulous that you live in Kettering, OH. What a coincidence! I believe I misunderstood/misread the info about podcasts. Not sure how I interpreted that you would do something different for patrons, maybe because above the bullet list it states “patron-only” feed. Also, I understand now about the $99 level and think that it is a…[Read more]

@s589886 I can't get to the workshops either. Thanks for a distraction after a bit of my own web-anxiety. I use Safari, but see below for what I get. Generally changing my browser doesn't change anything–just makes me open a new window.

🙁 that's really bad news. @tanja-osswald workshop should show up as a single page with downloadable pdf/word documents and a link to the place I'm having the workshop. Can you see that? I will have to contact my web guy if you're still having problems. Can any other captains join in pretty please, just to check my site?

@tanja-osswald Thanks so much for that feedback! I knew it didn't sound right, but couldn't put my finger on it!
@sarah-walworth Ohh! Thanks for that! I found the quote in a book (you know, how some chapters have a little quote at the beginning?), so I figured they would have copy edited it and found the right attribution (I usual google quotes…[Read more]

How strange! I tried to post your link (just the website and via the link button) and both times, my post was not saved, either.
But I found your website and am not taking a look for thoughts on your original question.— Things are jinxed on your website, too. I cannot access the workshop site. Sorry. I allowed all your page in my browser and…[Read more]

Totally would buy a planner. Just remember page numbers! 😉 [The first thing I posted in the old forums was about something not having page numbers. Since Tara has been working with Jess, that is not a problem.]
I'd be happy to give input on layout.
