I agree with Tanja – I'd give out a special coupon to be used at each show (by however many people show up) rather than a one-time prize because people may assume they've missed it and then there's no incentive for them to keep shopping. The coupon could be small, like “tax-free purchase” or 10% off or something…[Read more]

I'm nearing the 40,000 – so I think I'll make it. But my story is a total mess by now; I just keep on writing to make the word count. Since I did not plan to share it, anyway, that's okay. It is more of a writing exercise than a novel now.

I had a bit of derailing after the election (ugh), but have gotten back onto the wagon and am still doing okay for getting it done. I also recruited a new beta reader, so I have someone to poke me to finish the book so she can have the ending lol.

Alright, so how has NaNoWriMo gone? Any updates? 😀
