Got the notification that I passed on my second submission! Did learn a few new techniques that I hadn't known before about weaving in ends.

Thank you very much @tanja-osswald That was a very good idea to to look at the worst that could happen. I needed that perspective 🙂
Thanks @dana-gervais 🙂 You are right – I could not control, nor predict how the other party would interpret what I did and how they'd react. Thank you for your kind words 🙂 I needed to hear them 🙂

what's going well & what are you working on? (since I always seem to combine these)
I'm catching up! Yesterday I queued up a few forum ads for Raverly, blog posts outlined, sketched in design commitments, yes things are moving forward. Mostly forward, I need to rip out about 3 inches of a shawl design because I wasn't paying attention, again.…[Read more]

Hugs!!!!! @shelley-husband, these things are gutting, so I totally understand. However, I want to say that you did something (and you don't say what, so no judgment) that was taken a certain way by someone else. You cannot make amends. That's sadly the truth. Damage done. Now you need to figure out if you can or should do anything else.…[Read more]

You've made amends, you've done everything you can to rectify the situation and the ball is no longer in your court. It may take the other person some time to process everything and get over it. Or they may choose to not get over it – either…[Read more]

Thanks, Amy! You are right, I can still pilfer this novel and take out the nice parts to embed them into something more coherent. 🙂
Besides, doing NaNo teaches me a lot about my working habits and the way I motivate myself. Just 9,000 more words… -
