What are you working on?
Lots of tech editing, 3 projects with sample knitters, one in testing and writing a new pattern tomorrow.
What's Going Well I feel like everything is going well. The GAL on Ravelry has given me a nice sales bump, so that makes me happy.

These were ones that were done at the Yarn Crawl kickoff this year:
A speed knitting contest: Cast on 20 stitches and knit stockinette and see how many rows can be done in 5 minutes.
Knitting blindfolded: Same as above (maybe knit garter though) and see how fast people are when they can't see.
Knitting with a partner: Same idea as the above but…[Read more]

what's going well
My ravelry forum ads were approved, they're getting clicks but no bites yet. It's a small step that is what I needed.
what are you working on?
Courage to rip back that shawl and fix the mistake. Find additional hours to finish up some patterns to send to the tech editor.
Looking at the calendar to determine how much time I…[Read more]

How about count the number of different knitting items in their bags… so they get 1 point for stitch markers, 1 for tape measure, 1 for nostepinne, etc.

Hey everybody, I am planning a party for this Saturday. It is the last session of my very successful CustomFit Sweater Workshop at the LYS I teach at. We've gathered 5 times over 12 weeks and this is our wrap-up party. I have prizes and food planned, but I really would like to add some fun parlor-type games just to make it festive and to have a…[Read more]

Hello!
I am wanting to surprise one of my long time testers with some yummy yarn.
She lives in California and I'm looking to purchase a voucher to cover a yummy skein of yarn + postage. I know there are some yarn dyers here so I thought I'd ask here and see if any of you can help me.
Thank you!

Hello 🙂
After doing the Market Yourself class, I know I need to start using testimonials. I have been collecting snippets of nice things folks say using evernote and collected a few via my facebook group. Getting them is not the issue. Nor is the content. I know I need them to say things like the problem folks had and how my thing helped them…[Read more]

HI everyone!
I know I have been so quiet! Between the holiday and getting things ready for my book, I have been kind of holed up working a lot!
This is kind of a “YAY me”.
Just now I sent out emails to all of the yarn companies that are featured in my book. I created a look book for them and (this is they YAY part) Asked them to support me a…[Read more]

Oh good, @shelley-husband – I'm so glad to hear you're already working toward a resolution of this issue!
Just another hug from me, then, and a reminder that you can only control what you do and say but you can't control how other people react to things. You've done your best and that's a good thing – so many people don't really care if what they…[Read more]
