I only follow a very few people on my account, I actually kind of think of it as a second curated list of people I recommend.

“Follow4Follow” is kind of an obnoxious trend.

I do not follow everyone who follows me. I follow accounts that I want to follow because I truly enjoy going through my IG feed and don't want to clutter it up.

My latest yarn club just opened for subscriptions today! Based upon the story of Tristan and Isolde, this yarn club will last for nine months and features nine different bases and colors inspired by the story. @susan-heyn, I do follow some people strategically, but I'm not sure it has much effect. I believe most users want IG to be pleasant for them. I get rid of followers whose photos I don't like. There are things I won't tolerate on IG that I might look past on IG. There are a lot of accounts just trying to get followers. It is not your job to help them.

I am try to get more active on IG. I am wondering if I should follow everyone who likes or comments on my pictures or just the ones that I'm interested in. Seem to be getting a lot of likes from pages that aren't in English

I haven't tried Stitchworks either – I do my crochet charting “old school” in InkScape (the open source equivalent to Illustrator). I also chart for other publications (previously Interweave Crochet, currently French publishers) so if you would like to outsource the charting, let me know!

I have been having a hard time making a banner I really liked for my Etsy shop and FB page, so I had one designed by an Etsy seller. I think she did a great job! She also gave me some tips to use my new branding on my pattern template.

I just made my first map and it's not for 3 months but for the next 5 weeks, I want to launch a new collection of yarn inspired by my birthday at the end of February. Yes fun is something that tends to evaporate with overwork!
