I use a modified bullet journal, but I've been revising it. I like Circa notebooks because I can change them easily. BUT, I'm really noticing that the bigger the notebook gets, the less likely I am to use it, so I need to get rid of most of my larger disks so I can make many small notebooks. Anyone interested? I'm working on all the year end and closing down stuff for the yarn biz. We took year end inventory before the going out of business sale, so I need to now translate that into dollar amounts.

ACTUALLY! I was just on another thread and @annette-petavy just described InkScape as an open source Illustrator. I have actually had my eye on it myself. https://inkscape.org/en/about/features/

Sadly the only way I have heard of one that is free would be a bootlegged version. I heard powerpoint has some of the features, and then there are some open source programs out there that do bits and pieces. But that won't really help with your class probably. (this is all from my computer design SO)
