Ooh, I'm sorry, but I don't. I think youTube Live/google hangouts just has one person “big” at a time and it switches back and forth based on who's talking.
I use Huzza.io and it does split screen and allows livestreaming/commenting, embedding, downloading, etc.
Or recording in Skype gives you splitscreen options (I use the software Call…[Read more] -

I love this idea!
And remember – lots of people enjoy being featured, without even needing to ask (if you're giving photo credit and linking to them!), so you can send a quick message on IG, or you can just repost with credit (this is part of how Instagram is changing our normal culture around this – if you put it on your blog, you should ask. If…[Read more] -

I did the #elevateyourIG challenge last week with Tara and Joeli. I made some suggestions about future posts and was pleasantly surprised that my followers (who are mostly knitting designers and knitters with a few crocheters thrown in) were interested in being introduced to indie dyers and indie yarn companies for design inspiration and possible…[Read more]

Don't think that shooting at noon on a sunny day will get you your best pictures 🙂 Overcast days can be more flattering to your model(s) or find a shady spot on a sunny day.
As for white wall vs. leafy background, that's really up to you and what you want.
It's probably best to have models wear what you would wear with your samples. You will be…[Read more] -

Whatcha working on? I have a really full release calendar for 2017, so I am really busy creating patterns. Also doing lots of tech editing this week.
What's going well My very first ever KAL is going really well. Engagement has been awesome, pattern sales have had a nice spike and my email list has grown.

What's going well?
This week I've completed my annual pricing review. I used the three models that Tara set out in her pricing tutorial, which made me feel more confident that my numbers were realistic. And my “OMG, I can't possibly charge that much!” anxiety attack only lasted an hour this year.Whatcha' workin' on?
Business as usual. I'm…[Read more] -

What's going On?
I'm in SF visiting my mother. I'm seeing solutions to some of her issues, but not sure how much I'll be able to get done this visit. I did ask the sibs to help out so we get a better solution than when one of us does something and everyone else is not pulling the same way. What's going Well?
TNNA was really good for me. I loved…[Read more] -

Whatcha workin on?
I've been shipping initial orders for the first Ribbon Muse design. All those orders came from my best customers (my right people). Will get my newsletter out this morning to “officially” announce the Ribbon Muse. I'm about 1 1/2 weeks off my map goal, but I think that's okay. Am dyeing ribbon, trims and velvet for orders.…[Read more] -

Whatcha workin on?

Besides, I need to finish two projects for my next book and organize a photo shooting. What’s going well?

Thank you, @grace-shalom-hopkins. Actually, I'm not sure about a specific mood – does happy to wear such nice shawls count as a mood?
Time of day is easy – it has to be something without artificial lights.
